A downloadable idle server experience

Button-Bot is an exciting new idle game / team competition / digital pet inspired by a redstone device built by MumboJumbo in season 7 of Hermitcraft.

Button-bot is a 10-hour countdown clock of battery emojis above a rainbow. Press the trackball reaction to reset the timer back to the beginning, and gain the current color's role.

Each role gives access to a uniquely themed channel, where members can chat and discover secret bot commands related to their theme.

Some might try to get every role once, others might aim only for the highest, and still others might find a color or community they like and settle in.

There are many ways to play, but only one Button per server, so do not forget to keep it alive!

Install instructions

Button-Bot can be added to a Discord server in two ways:

  1. Invite the bot to your server using this clickable link! [OFFLINE]
  2. Run button-bot yourself by...
  • downloading the code and starting it to generate "Token.txt"
  • open that file and paste in your own bot token which can be found by going to https://discord.com/developers/applications
  • click "New Application," then go to the "Bot" tab on the left
  • create a bot and hit "Click to Reveal Token"
  • invite your new bot to your server
  • invite your new bot to your server
  • go to the "OAuth2", then check "bot" in scopes
  • finally, check "Administrator" in bot permissions
  • copy and paste the generated link into your browser

Once added to the server, Button-Bot will create all categories, channels, and roles needed for the game - no need to worry!
