Darkness Peering

A small PICO-8 horror game, developed in a four person group. A girl wakes up to find the lights out in her home, and as she explores, she becomes transported to a fleshy nightmare realm guarded by a terrible beast. But if she can traverse the dark halls and flip enough levers, she may be able to escape...

Use the arrow keys to move and Z to turn on and off the flashlight. Download whichever zipped file you need for your computer, open it and play!

This is probably my most "complete" game to date. I drew and coded all animation in the project. I also redesigned sections of the maze, added detail and roughness to areas, created the ending page and helped with several miscellaneous bugs. Working with my team was a ton of fun and I'm really proud of our final product.
